DivX是由DivXNetworks所开发的崭新的MPEG-4视频编码/译码器。它提供更高级的编码控制以及二次编码。他还可以播放旧版DivX ;-)以及XviD等编码的MPEG-4电影。
最新释放的DivX Codec 5.2.1，此版本包含了DivX Player 2.5.5，DivX Codec 5.2.1解决了与Window XP SP2的兼容问题，还修复了少许Bug。
